I'm not even sure you can call it that .. a cash game.. Blinds at 1c/2c and buyin for 1 euro. People are basically playing any two cards, and raising before the flop usually gets you 4 callers. At least we were playing with 8 people at the table, so you can wait for a decent hand (especially with those ridicilously low blinds) and hope to get paid off. I got paid off a few times on big hands, but even after winning a few euros and having a massive chip stack in front of me .. the dynamics of the game didn't change much. The blinds were changed to 3c/6c but that didn't change much for the calling stations.
i was actually waiting for another couple of people that would show up for a small sit and go, but no such luck. Stuck in the cash game with the donks. Even though the ATMs were ready to give me their money (all 3 or 4 euros of it), I couldn't bear it any longer and instead of grinding it out as I should i started bluffing the calling stations, seeing how far I could go with them.
Don't ever do that .. even though I only lost my 2 euro buyin, and my wife actually had 3 profit, I still wasted a good stack that could have been close to 10 euros. I stared playing too loose and calling too many weird draws. In the end I did manage to still make the evening worthwhile by handing out flyers for my Free Poker Bankrolls Site
I think I may get some more signups once again .. these homegames are obviously good for something ;)
