Hey everyone, Since this is supposed to be my page of MANY things and I have basically only been blogging about my poker trials here lately, I figured it was time for something completely different ! Just a few quick things here from my normal life. As some of you might know (those of you who know me personally) I have been doing sort of a detox period the last few months. Completely stopped drinking alcohol since shortly after my birthday in September ! But all good things must come to an end and so did this :) During christmas I figured it was a good time to start taking in some of that nasty stuff again, and got totally and utterly completely friggin wasted ! Yes sir .. The weird things was, I recall thinking I wasn't drunk at all while it was already deep into the night. I kept downing vodka redbull mixes as if it was lemonade. The next day, I knew I was actually pretty wasted. I saw the pictures from the night before (I'll post some later) and found out I had left a lot of things at the party I was at. My hat .. my digital camera, the life of my survivor USB stick and about a gazillion brain cells in the process. Ok, I was wasted :) Luckily I got back the camera the next day and a few days later I was able to figure out from my memory fragments who was the likely holder of my beloved hat. I still have to go pick that thing up btw ! Since then I've had a few nights were I had a couple of drinks, but nothing really extreme like the 12 hour binge on xmas. Had a few beers last night even, which was a normal week day, so I'm back to my normal schedule I guess. My online money making endevours have been going very well lately, my poker site bringing a fair chunk of change and my older gaming websites are still going pretty strong. I should really invest some time in getting those back into full blown action, but at the moment I don't have internet at home and I need to balance out the websites over different servers before I start gathering more traffic towards those sites again. At the moment I have taken down the Fallout 3 mods site because at peek times during the day it's so busy that my server runs out of memory, which in turn hurts my poker websites. The poker site is bringing in more money than the gaming sites, so it's not worth slowing that down to the point where it doesn't work anymore just to make a few dollars on adsense on the other ones. Have not played an awful lot of poker lately, a few homegames where I more or less came out with the same amount of money I came into the game with. So no joy there .. Was watching Annette 15's hand history of the 180 man Sng she played without looking at her cards, that got me excited so I tried some of her moves in a 45 man Sng last night and got into the money before busting with 55 against A10s. Had I won that I would have been in great position to take it down. Alas .. no joy for me. That's it for now .. don't want to bore you all too much with this. Stay tuned for some photos of Xmas and maybe some pictures of the last few poker nights (I took loads of pictures finally).
