This weekend has been a lot of hard work for me. No chilling in the sun like most of my friends, but sitting behind my laptop, working on my sites. But I know why I'm doing it. Building my empire. After the big setback I had with hacked servers and lost data my Adsense income had dropped to nearly nothing. After some hard work the past months, I have the foundations of a new empire again. And this time it's going to be bigger and better then ever before. This very website is part of that master plan. This is my place to vent my frustrations and post about everything that goes on in my head. Which, incidentally is also related to my other sites as I have created sites for just about any subject I'm interrested in. So whenever I post something here, it's often a chance to link to one of my other sites. Good for visitor flow and good for Google ranking of course. Today was not only building sites and writing articles, I spent a lot of time doing actual SEO work for my sites too. Mailing other webmasters about placing my link on their site, browsing related forums to see if my articles can help someone .. that kind of stuff. All to build more backlinks and visitor flows. And it's paying off, my Google Adsense income is almost back up to half of what it was in better times. I think another few months of hard work and I should be back to where I was. This time with a better foundation to launch new projects, and also I have spread my work over so many sites now that a single problem cannot hurt my income so much anymore. Some work I did today : Added more games to the Arcade Hall here Added mods for download at my Oblivion Mods site Added a few mods at my Neverwinter nights site Polished up my articles on my Joomla webmaster guides site Sent a bunch of emails for backlinks for all my sites Wrote some help guides for Neverwinter Nights 2 modding Placed some links on forums to my sites that are now finished enough to go live Checked statistics of all my sites to see if there are important changes Wrote 3 blog posts Solved a Joomla issue one of my sites was having ... I could go on. Enough for today ! I'm going to chill out and watch an episode of LOST !
